Day 1 - Welcome to the Highlands
Your guides will be waiting for you at the airport when you arrive. Only 1 hour drive from Glasgow or Edinburgh, we are at the gateway of the famous high lands, The Highlands ! The Trossachs and Loch Lomond National Park, known for its forests and wilderness, allows you to immerse yourself in the magnificent Scottish landscape. Accommodation for 7 nights in a private house in the heart of the park, The nature of the Highlands welcomes you. 1st hike/yoga session to be determined according to the time of arrival.
Day 2 -The crossing of Ben Venue
A hike to Mount Ben Venue . A sublime crossing connecting Loch Achray to Loch Venachar. We will also be right on top of Loch Katrine ! It was here that the famous poet, Sir Walter Scott, found the inspiration to write “Lady of the Lake”, which, in turn, inspired Schubert with his “Ave Maria”. A yoga session at the end of the afternoon, a meal and a relaxing evening.
Day 3 - Loch Lomond and Ben Dubh
We head for the west coast of the largest, longest and one of the most beautiful lochs in Scotland — namely Loch Lomond. At 39 km in length, it surpasses Loch Ness by 3 km. Leaving the charming little village of Luss, we will quickly ascend to admire the view over the loch, then return via the Luss Valley. A short walk in the village of Luss after the hike. A yoga session at the end of the afternoon, a meal and a relaxing evening.
Day 4 - Ben Ledi and celtic culture
A hike on the sacred mountain of the Celtic people, where all the Druids of Europe would go twice a year to celebrate the Celtic New Year and Summer Solstice. From the summit, we have a superb view of the many lochs and rivers in the vicinity. Celtic culture and history will be on the agenda today. A yoga session at the end of the afternoon, a meal and a relaxing evening.
Day 5 - The Dollar valley and castle Campbell
A circular hike in the Ochil Hills to discover a magnificent valley that runs along wild gorges with unrivalled shades of green. A visit of the castle, located on the uplands. We will have the opportunity to admire the Lowlands and Highlands on this excursion to varied landscapes. A yoga session at the end of the afternoon, a meal and a relaxing evening.
Day 6 - Ben Lawers Nature Reserve
Today, we head north from the National Park to discover other landscapes in this nature reserve, situated north of Loch Tay, the largest loch in the country by volume. A very pleasant route lasting 2 to 3 hours, most of which is spent on the uplands, with a 360 degree view. Sheer bliss. A yoga session at the end of the afternoon, a meal and a relaxing evening.
Day 7 - Ben Lomond
Hiking on the iconic mountain of Loch Lomond which also bears its name. It is the highest mountain in the southern Highlands and offers a stunning view of the loch and its dozens of islands. This is a lovely tour that will give you a wonderful insight into hiking in Scotland.
Day 8 - Return flight and end of your adventure
Transfer to the airport and return flight
